Sebastian Zawadzki is a Nordic jazz pianist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His music combines the atmospheric qualities of Scandinavian jazz with contemporary classical influences, improvisation and a strong focus on melody and storytelling.

Having lived and worked in Denmark since 2010, Zawadzki has developed a musical language shaped by both the Nordic jazz tradition and his background as a composer. His performances move between lyrical improvisation, cinematic textures and contemporary composition, creating a distinctive sound that balances freedom with structure.

As a pianist, he has collaborated with internationally acclaimed musicians including Adam Bałdych, Anders “AC” Christensen, Felix Pastorius and many other artists from the European jazz scene. His work has been presented at venues including Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen and numerous festivals and concert halls across Europe and beyond.

Projects such as Vibrations, Live at Xenon Nova Concert Series and Live at Jassmine Warsaw reflect his approach to Nordic jazz, blending original compositions, improvisation and contemporary musical influences. Alongside his own projects, he is a member of the Adam Bałdych Quintet and appears on recordings released by ACT Music.

Whether performing solo piano, trio concerts or larger ensemble projects, Sebastian Zawadzki continues to explore the evolving relationship between Nordic jazz, contemporary classical music and improvisation.
